PRAYER OF CATECHISTS
O God
Teach us to pray
for what we truly need.
Teach us to make peace
when conflict consumes us.
Teach us to be gentle in judgment
when disputes divide us.
Teach us to be docile to your spirit
rich in sympathy,
and kind in word and deed.
Teach us to welcome others
as you welcome us,
with gentle patience,
with mercy and with love.
Teach us to serve you
by serving all
in the name of Jesus
who was, who is and who will
be Lord forever and ever. Amen
